How safe is the login to the Support Center?

Logins to the TradeStation Support Center are secure to the fullest extent possible. We use high-grade, 128-bit encryption and the "https" protocol through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to communicate with your browser software. SSL protects information as it is transferred through the internet. This method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the information you send to us.

What happens if I check the option to "Log me on to the forums automatically" on the login page?

You can choose to "Log me on to the forums automatically". You should check this option if you wish to remain logged into the forums with your Forum Screen Name without having to log back in to the Support Center.

With the current design, you will automatically be logged off of the Support Center if there is no activity past 15 minutes, however, with the "Log me on to the forums automatically" option checked you are still logged on to the forums. This means you can click on "Client Log Off" on the Support Center and still be logged into the forums.

Are you passing my User Name and Password to the forums?

As you login to the TradeStation Support Center or TradeStation2000i.com, you'll be given the option to "Log me on to the forums automatically". If this option is selected, your TradeStation Screen Name and Forum Screen Name will be saved to a cookie - not your TradeStation password. All of your message posts and any other participation you may have within the forums will only display your identity as your Forum Screen Name. Additionally, during your use of the TradeStation Support Center , your TradeStation Screen Name, User Name and password are NOT being passed to the Forums.

I've forgotten my Screen name and/or password to login. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your screen name or password, please call 1-800-327-3794.

How do I change my Screen name and password?

Once you are logged into the Support Center, Click on the 'Change My Information' link which appears in the left navigation and follow the simple steps to choose a new User Name, Screen Name and password.

I get caught in a loop where I'm repeatedly asked for my log in information, but I can't log in.

1. Check if your browser's cookies settings are enabled. To access TradeStation Forums, you need to have cookies enabled on your browser. If you have concerns about accepting cookies, please review our Privacy Notice. To check your cookies settings, look under your browser's options or preferences and choose Advanced. In the Advanced section, you'll find an area containing your cookies settings. You should choose "Accept all cookies" to enable cookies for your browser.

2. Proxy servers may also get in the way of logging in. If you are running any kind of caching program (for example, Webcelerator, NetSonic Pro, and so on), you may want to change your preferences to exclude TradeStation Forums from being cached.

3. If you have unsubscribed from TradeStation subscription services, you will automatically lose your posting privileges.

If the above steps do not resolve your login issue, please seek assistance via e-mail at login@tradestation.com.

The information I am seeing on the page appears out-dated. Why?

There is a good chance that your browser has cached the page. Deleting your cache (or the temporary Internet files) should resolve this. We suggest deleting your cache frequently to prevent this problem. To delete your temporary Internet files, choose 'Tools' menu, then 'Internet Options' from within MicroSoft Internet Explorer, then select the 'Delete Temporary Internet Files' button.

What is the preferred internet browser for viewing TradeStation Discussion Forums?

Microsoft Internet Explorer. TradeStation's graphs and tables have been optimized for display in Internet Explorer version 5 and higher. If you use Netscape, your pages may take much longer to load.
